Giving Back

Verigent Volunteers Serve Our Community

Verigent’s efforts reflect our belief that a successful corporation must be an active participant in society. Our people have given back to the communities in which they work and live through the following programs:

MAKE A WISH

For the past 3 years, Verigent Teams have participated in the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge hiking 28.3 miles in the mountains of North Carolina raising donations to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. To date, Verigent has raised over $47,000! This year alone, Verigent is able to help grant 3 wishes for local North Carolina kids and their families. We thank you for your generous support in making this possible!

TOYS FOR TOTS

For the past 5 years, Verigent has participated in the Toys For Tots program donating hundreds of new toys for less fortunate children in the local Charlotte area.

ADOPT A PARK

In 2017, Verigent adopted a local Mecklenburg Park in North Carolina to help maintain its playground and landscape upkeep throughout the year. Verigent employees participate in hands-on projects such as laying sod, mulching playground & landscape areas, pressure washing, painting, and more!

FOOD & DONATION DRIVES

Verigent annually participates in several food drives including the Mooresville Soup Kitchen, Carolina Wildfires Firefighter Donation, and the West Virginia Flooding, and Second Harvest Food Bank.

KENYA MISSION TRIP

One of our Senior Recruiters will be going on another 2-week mission trip to Kenya in August to help local communities by partnering with different ministries, schools and children’s homes to deliver practical seminars, mentoring sessions and do other work through local churches. Verigent donated auction baskets, raised money from company employees by holding a “Pie-in-the-Face” fundraising event, sponsored a "Paint for a Cause" art night and assisted in trip sponsorship.

RISE FOR AUTISM

Last May, Verigent participated in the RISE for Autism golf tournament in Davidsonville, MD. RISE has been responsible for awarding over $95,000 in grant funding to local families to assist with the ongoing financial burdens associated with the care and treatment of individuals with all spectrums of Autism throughout the state of MD.
