Verigent’s efforts reflect our belief that a successful corporation must be an active participant in society. Our people have given back to the communities in which they work and live through the following programs:
For the past 4 years, Verigent Teams have participated in the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge hiking 28.3 miles in the mountains of North Carolina raising donations to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. To date, Verigent has raised over $47,000! >
For the past 11 years, Verigent has participated in the Toys For Tots program donating hundreds of new toys for less fortunate children in the local Charlotte area.
Verigent adopted a local Mecklenburg Park in North Carolina to help maintain its playground and landscape upkeep throughout the year. Verigent employees participate in hands-on projects such as laying sod, mulching playground & landscape areas, pressure washing, painting, and more!
Verigent partnered with Angels & Sparrows serving at their Community Table and Resource Center and participating in their Summer Bag Lunch Program providing access to food security for families in the local community. We also participate in Second Harvest Food Bank and other food donation drives.
This two 2-week mission trip to Kenya helped local communities by partnering with different ministries, schools and children’s homes to deliver practical seminars, mentoring sessions and do other work through local churches. Verigent donated auction baskets, raised money from company employees by holding a “Pie-in-the-Face” fundraising event, and has sponsored a "Paint for a Cause" art night to assist in trip sponsorship.
Verigent employees got involved in the community helping build a new Habitat for Humanity Home! Our crew assisted with flooring and framing a new home for a local deserving family!
